Vinay - DIY Flower Pot

Today I took Vinay for the kids workshop in the Home Depot. I need to encourage Vinay to wake up early and go to the workshop on time. Vinay didn't trouble me today and we got ready and reached home depot before 9 AM .

Vinay was provided with a apron and kit to make a flower pot for mother's day. I put the apron for Vinay and started making the flower pot. Vinay took the contents out from the packAnd started looking at the instruction.

Vinay started nailing the nails using hammer and soon assembled the flower pot. Next we took the foam flower and leaves and assembled it. Next step is to paint the flower pot.Vinay choose red (his favorite color) and blue ( dad's favorite color) to paint it and we started painting. As usual started complain ing about the paint sticking on his hand. Finally I convinced him and he painted blue o the flower pot base and red to flower pot legs. 

Once the painting is completed,  we placed the plastic pot to plant the flowers. 

Vinay was happy to get his batch for completing his flower pot for his mommy.

Car Show - April 27th 2014

Today Me and Vinay went to the Car Show in North Brunswick. Last year I took him to the show after the show is over and Vinay was telling me to take him to the show early this year, so I made a point to take him on time this year.

Vinay was excited to see large number of cars including vintage and sports car. Vinay was excited to see the BUMBLEB car.

Next, we went to see the COP & Fire trucks. We saw an old vintage fire truck used by the North Brunswick fire department. Vinay got a chance to explore the cop car. I was surprised when he asked me, where is the walkie talkie?. I explained and showed him the mic, printer, GPS and focus light that is fixed on the car.

After roaming around the car show, we got tired and had a pretzels (Not so good) and while we are returning from the show we saw the yellow colored car. Vinay was not excited with the car but the gentleman there gave him a model toy of the car and Vinay was very excited. A nice way to end the car show!!!
